主角 Iko 与世界观
《Islets》的舞台是一片漂浮在天空中的群岛世界。很久以前这里曾是一整块完整的大陆，被勤劳的小动物们依靠巨型电磁装置安稳地连接在一起。后来某次意外让这些装置停摆，群岛四散漂移，每座小岛变得日益荒凉，怪物也借机滋生。
主角 Iko（伊科） 是一只怀揣梦想的鼠类小战士，立志要把散落的天空岛屿重新连回一起，让世界重归完整。他驾驶着略显破旧但忠诚的小飞艇，以 Sky City 为基地，逐个重启岛屿上的磁力核心。
旅途中你会遇到形形色色的角色：

Iko and the world
The world of Islets is an archipelago floating in the sky. Long ago the islands formed a single landmass, held together by giant electromagnetic devices tended by industrious critters. When those devices failed, the islands drifted apart, grew barren, and gave monsters a place to thrive.
Iko is a hopeful mouse warrior who dreams of reconnecting every isle. Piloting a rickety but loyal airship, he works out of Sky City and reignites each isle's magnetic core.
Along the way you'll meet a colourful cast:
- Snoot — a boastful peer rival.
- Greybird — a kind, recurring ally.
- Totally Normal Tour Guide — the "weird vibes" character the store page teases.
- Various side NPCs tucked into each biome, adding flavour and short vignettes.
Genre, pacing, and verdict
Islets is a fairly linear Metroidvania with strong backtracking rewards: the main path is set, but every successful fusion opens new shortcuts and hidden rooms. Platforming is forgiving; bosses are challenging but fair. Metacritic: 82/100. Steam: Overwhelmingly Positive.
